Fall Foliage in the DMV

I recently moved to the East Coast and the trees in the DMV have been so overwhelming in the best way possible. With the transition into fall, the foliage was something I had to capture. The reds, oranges, yellows, and browns have served as a source of inspiration. The average person sees leaves, but I see color palettes, growth, and much more. This season has been personal and symbolizes the transition and shedding of old skin, which I am currently experiencing. It's been reaffirming for me as I go through life's changes. As we head into the winter season and all the leaves eventually fall, I'm reminded that the old me will also fall. That a new me is to be reborn...
